I, not wanting to copy it, but use it as an inspiration that caught my attention.  

One way street in downtown L. A.

It was just one of those times but then again, it's always that time, you know what I'm talking about; traffic, it has nothing to do with the time of day, there is traffic.  One steps out of the hotel hit's the streets and its rush hour.  It is a way of life when you want to take a bite out of the Big Apple.

Cruising with my son in Minnesota chasing down some breweries for some assume tastes.
Traveling up and down city streets we found just what we where looking for on this one-way street of nothing but good eats and drink..

Heading south trying to catch the sun as it slowly sinks behind the clouds and eventually giving way to night my mind drifts to all that has taken place.   Like the setting sun and the beginning of the new day that will fallow, I too look forward to new beginnings as well, I do indeed

With evening approaching and a day field with lunch with friends, post-office, looking in on a few galleries, banking.... I know what your thinking... This guy is busy... But the truth is... I was just heading back into Laguna and took this shot and said to self.. #PaintThis

Loving the city as I do this was a no brainier to want to paint.  It is a culmination of several photos all introduced to each other to make one painting.  Like meeting new people to make a party, all have to get along and complement one another.   I am posting this framed as most of my small works will be for this years summer Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach CA.

 Knowing this was going to be a wonderful sunset I pull off on the shoulder kicking up gravel and dust.   I shut the engine, get out of my van and head out about 50 yards into the darkening desert.   After a time I found a place to get this shot.  I knelt down using these two posts of what was left of a fence protecting a long forgotten covered up hole in the ground.  Anyway, they made for a nice composition for this crazy artist out on the highways.
