HEADING SOUTH

                                                       HEADING SOUTH
                                                         8X8 oil on panel

It was early morning, the sun had not made its way over the tops of the hills, the ocean; calm I was made my way to the pelican diner on Coast highway, I could taste the pancakes and smell the bacon.  Soon it was going to be showtime at the festival of arts and the beginning of summer for us crazy's.

MONDAY'S WASH

                                                     MONDAY'S WASH
                                                    8X8inch oil on panel

This is part of an ongoing series of my black & white paintings.  The original is 24x24inch canvas fall color, so to do this in a black & white scale was the most fun.

"BIRDS ON THE WIRE"

                                                          MORNING BIRDS
                                                       6x6 oil on wood panel

It was early morning with the sun peeking over the clouds; life was stirring under roofs with coffee brewing, showers spraying, and people talking in whispers.  I on the other hand was on the road with what seemed the only life was the one car heading in my direction and the birds on the wire.   (SOLD)

"GROUND FOG "

                                                          GROUND FOG
                                                     6x6 oil on wood panel

The sky was a crystal  clear  blue with wisps of vale like clouds that moved to  air currents up high.  Because it was still so early the ground fog lingered preventing me from getting on the road anytime soon.  It only took one photo and I knew I had another painting in the making.

"AWAKENING"

The beginning of the morning was wonderful after the rains had washed the air and all clean. It allowed the sun to illuminate the now crystal clear sky and its rays to peek through the trees making for a most perfect days beginning.   This 8x6" in oils is on Birch panel mounted onto a varnished wooden box:   (sold)
