"STARTING TO RAIN"

Driving out of the "U-Rent" with their last car, I pulled out in to traffic just as it starts to rain.  Not knowing where the wipers or defogger is, I strain my eyes to see what's ahead and off into the night I go in search of a motel and sleep.  What a great beginning to what could be a long weekend.  Oil painting on a 8x6" Birch panel mounted to a varnished wooden box: $140 (Sold)

Thought this was a photo until I read your caption! So creative to even consider painting such an image, but what fun! Jeanne

I had to stop myself from adding more drops, that how much fun this was.

Gerald - I hate driving in the rain more than anything but this is a great idea and a fantastic painting!

Good evening Cara.. I (Obviously ) like driving in the rain, not sure why but do... So the painting was a must, I will probably do a larger version of this.

Hey Ger,
When I first saw this on the Daily Painter site (& it was so little), I thought it was snow - but I like the rain better. What a nice surprise not see rain (or snow) as blue - must be the tail lights. Great piece! And, yes, I like driving in the rain also - I like walking in the rain even better - maybe it is because we "usually" have so little, except for lately, of course.
Cheers, Cyndy
