Long ride, hungry, in need of a place to rest along with a bit of luck, and there it was, almost hidden by the glare of the New Mexico sun it screamed at me "VACANCY". With no hesitation, I pulled in, parked, and practically running, headed straight into the office scaring the sleepy manager behind the desk and said, "Ill take a room". This is an original oil painting on birch wood mounted to a 6x6" varnished 1.5" deep wooden box: (Sold)

I've just discovered you work and I am loving it! I chose your painting as my favorite on my blog, rosaspicks.wordpress.com. I hope you'll come by and check it out! Thanks, Rosa
Thank you so much Rosa, I love your blog as well..
Gerald - OMG - I love this so much. You know (or maybe not) that I was raised in Santa Rosa, NM and my father built several restaurants there - the first one was the "Sun and Sands" - it was built next to and named for the Sun and Sands Motel.
How fun to find out that you really do know this place.. What were the odds...
Nice to see where you've been! Looks like a good place to pull over and watch the sunset.
Diana, hello! Yes a good place, but all of Santa Fe is a good place :)
