"INTO DUSK"

Watching the sun go down on the plains is wonderful in itself but then you ad one of the steel beats that roam our lands just out of sight most of the time, now you got something... I had to paint this, feel it out, test the waters if you will, it is the precursor to a much large canvas, that one will be the animal to paint. This one moved along at a nice pace, it's size is 4x12" oil on Birch wood, mounted on a varnished wooden box:  (SOLD)

This is really awesome! You know how much I love the sky.
Back in the 70's I lived in a small town (really small - like one grocery store and one restaurant that doubled as a pool hall in the evenings). The trains ran through my backyard (kept me up at night sometimes). I took some photos of the trains, maybe I will have to dig them out.
Great job - I will look forward to seeing the larger piece, too.
