"NO TRAFFIC"

"oil on wood size: 6x6x1.5 inch. get it now for $160 + s/h

Knowing this was going to be a wonderful sunset I pull off on the shoulder kicking up gravel and dust.   I shut the engine, get out of my van and head out about 50 yards into the darkening desert.   After a time I found a place to get this shot.  I knelt down using these two posts of what was left of a fence protecting a long forgotten covered up hole in the ground.  Anyway, they made for a nice composition for this crazy artist out on the highways.
Tell next time.  Catch ya on the way back.

"SUMMERS DAY"

This is a day at the beach with a good buddy who goes by the name of "Pinky." I have known this guy for some 45 years, maybe longer.  We and a cast of correctors all lived in Laguna Beach in the 70s    Now fast forward to 2014 and again a walk above Heisler Park, my camera at the ready taking photographs of people down-blow walking and getting lost in there thoughts.
Here are three studies in oils on 6x6x1.5 inch varnished wooden cradle box's.  They are preparing my thoughts for for some really serious canvass that I will be working on this next year.   But for now, and from time to time I will post these little painted thoughts.  Each is $160 +s/h here in the USA.  To own one and have as a part of your collection email me for a paypal bill.

Each painting is hand wrap and boxed by me to insure the safety of its arrival.
Just email me at schwartzart@earthlink.net

"SHARP TURN"

Not really sure how I come to this photo, but loving it enough to want to paint it.   Taking liberties I changed it enough to make it mine I set out on an interesting journey of colors.  I knew full well I would use this palette again.... So much more to learn, how exciting..
This is a 6x6x1.5 inch wooden varnished box.
