A dive of a place but, it was late, I was tired after a long drive, didn't want much food and needed a cold beer to wash down the dust after 9 hours of back roads, dead ends and map reading, I deserved this stop. "THE FENCE"

The fence ran along the property line covering quite a large area. As I watched the last remaining light of the sun fade behind the clouds that closed in on the land this day I thought to myself "not even a fence can keep winters snow from coming in". It is most fantastic to see and feel the rhythm of changes of the season. It was equally apropos and evident in the change of climate in this country and the world that most took part in. "THE BAY"

As the sun was just about to go into hiding, with the warm breeze blowing a cold drink setting on the table next to me, I picked my camera up and took this departing shot for the evening.... Three years later and far, far from this magical of places, I return if only in my minds-eye..
