In deepening the sky, getting into the shadows in the mountain and added a little color to the foothills I thought I would do a new post.. Its my painting & I can do what I want..
Mountains are not usually my thing to paint, I feel a bit claustrophobic when surrounded by them, thus my love for the plains. Give me those open spaces and I feel free... All that being said, I do paint them on occasion. Here is one occasion. I'm at a safe distance and behind me, it opens up to a wonderful meadow so I can run, skip, tumble and roll... "That of course is, if I was inclined to do so". This is a 6x8 inch oil on Birch panel mounted on a varnished wooden box. For availability E-mail:schwartzart@earthlink.net
