"OLIVE JAR"

Looking for composition I found the olives to be the subject for this one... I wanted to play with color, shape so I painted the black board in juxtaposition giving the painting another dimension. This 6x6 inch is in oils on archival board set on a 2 1/2 inch varnished wood box. $135 (SOLD)

A dive of a place but, it was late, I was tired after a long drive, didn't want much food and needed a cold beer to wash down the dust after 9 hours of back roads, dead ends and map reading, I deserved this stop. "THE FENCE"

The fence ran along the property line covering quite a large area. As I watched the last remaining light of the sun fade behind the clouds that closed in on the land this day I thought to myself "not even a fence can keep winters snow from coming in". "THE BAY"
