"LONG WALK HOME"

Out on a back road in San Antonio I caught this as the sun was just about to drop out of the sky.
I have over a couple of years painted this scene and each time there is something new that I gain in the coloring and the application of the pigments.. I have painted this as a 74"x30 and now 6x8 inch and I must say I really like what took place this time in around with equal enthusiasm over the finished piece. Oil on archival board mounted on a deep varnished wooden box with no framing needed. (Sold)

"MED-DAY IN L.A."

After jumping out of the cab holding my trusty camera, I got one shot and ran inside for I was running late. The geometrics of the city has and always will be a fascination for me. The shadows against the walls has its own shapes leaving the negative space with its shape... I love it, what can I say.... Painted with oils on archival board mounted on a deep varnished wooden box measuring 6x6 inch. For availability E-mail:schwartzart@earthlink.net

"LAST SUMMER"

A more impressionistic view of a place I stayed this last summer... The friendships, good food, wine and a place I could call home are memories forever... The fact that I painted this with a much freer brushstroke is most symbolic of my time there. I did it without thinking, a real letting go, something I should do more off... What a fun thing to have presented itself to me...
Here is a 6x8 inch oil on archival board mounted on a deep finished box. Buy this now at $145

"STILL-LIFE & SHADOWS"

I wanted to return to still-life painting and at the same time keep my sky paintings as a recurring theme. I thought. "Why not paint the still-life casting a shadow on the sky". That way I keep each separate allowing the viewer to sense the whole as a composition in mood. I hope you enjoy these as much as I in painting them. Here is the forth in the series.
